Everything you want to know about what's inside PepCubes.
About PepCubes
What are PepCubes made of?
Every flavor starts with real carrots and dried figs. Then we add walnuts and warm spices, orange peel, peanuts and cocoa, or purple carrots and fruit, depending on the flavor. Each ingredient list is short and easy to read.
Why carrots and figs?
PepCubes comes from a 19th-century Mediterranean recipe that brought the two together. Carrots and figs give natural sweetness, a soft, chewy texture and naturally occurring fiber.
Are PepCubes vegan?
Purple Carrot is vegan and sweetened only with date syrup. Walnut, Orange and Peanut contain honey.
Are PepCubes gluten-free?
Yes. All four flavors are gluten-free and dairy-free.
Where are PepCubes made?
In Adana, Turkey, in a production workshop run by women.
Fiber & nutrition
How much fiber is in one pack?
Each 30g pack has 3–5g of fiber depending on the flavor, which is 11–18% of the daily value. Peanut has the most, with 5g.
What's the difference between natural and added fiber?
Many snack bars boost their fiber with isolated ingredients such as chicory root or inulin. The fiber in PepCubes comes from the carrots and figs themselves. We don't add any.
Why do the labels show added sugar?
FDA rules count honey, date syrup and grape molasses as added sugars. PepCubes contain no refined sugar. Each pack has 7–9g of added sugars, depending on the flavor.
Are PepCubes a good snack on a GLP-1 journey?
Many people on GLP-1 medications look for smaller portions and more fiber. Each PepCubes pack is portion-controlled at 30g, with 80–100 calories and 3–5g of naturally occurring fiber. Everyone's nutrition needs are different, so talk with your doctor or dietitian about what fits your plan.
Allergens & everyday use
Which flavors contain nuts?
Walnut contains walnuts and Peanut contains peanuts. Orange and Purple Carrot have no nuts in the recipe. All four flavors are made in a facility that also processes peanuts and tree nuts and may contain nutshell fragments.
Are PepCubes good for kids?
Orange is a lunchbox favorite with families. If your child has a nut allergy, please read the answer about nuts above before sharing.
How should I store PepCubes?
